T1 INTERNATIONAL
Terminal 1 — International
Sydney's only international terminal, handling all overseas departures and arrivals — Qantas international, Emirates, Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific, British Airways, Air New Zealand, and dozens more. Located across the runway from the domestic terminals.

T2 DOMESTIC
Terminal 2 — Virgin / Jetstar / Rex
Sydney's central domestic terminal, used by Virgin Australia, Jetstar, and Rex (Regional Express). Located between T1 and T3 on the eastern side of the runway. Compact layout — most arrivals take just 15-25 minutes from landing to kerbside.

T3 DOMESTIC
Terminal 3 — Qantas / QantasLink
Exclusively for Qantas and QantasLink — no other airline operates from T3. Located 5-minute walk from T2. One of the world's busiest domestic terminals during peak periods, especially the Sydney-Melbourne shuttle service.

Inter-Terminal Travel at Sydney Airport
Sydney Airport is split into two distinct precincts. T2 and T3 (the domestic terminals) sit side-by-side on the eastern side of the runway, with about a 5-minute walk between them. T1 (the international terminal) is on the western side — approximately 4 kilometres away by road.
If you need to transfer between T1 and the domestic terminals (T2/T3), you have three options:
- T-Bus Shuttle: Free for connecting passengers with a same-day onward boarding pass. Departs every 10-20 minutes, takes 6-10 minutes between terminals. Operates 6:00am to 11:00pm.
- Airport Link train: One stop between Domestic and International stations. Approximately $9 per adult. Trains every 10-15 minutes. Fastest option (about 2 minutes platform-to-platform).
- Taxi or rideshare: 5-7 minutes by road. Costs typically $15-$25 depending on traffic and surge pricing.
If you've booked Ram's for a transfer to or from a specific terminal, your driver will collect you at that terminal's pickup zone. We don't typically need to do inter-terminal moves unless you've specifically arranged a multi-stop trip — mention it in your free quote request so we can plan the routing and fare.

Switch Phone On
Once you've landed and you're allowed to use your phone, switch it on. Free WiFi covers all Sydney Airport terminals — international travellers can use WhatsApp without paying roaming charges.

Driver Contacts You
Your assigned driver will personally contact you before pickup to confirm. On arrival, the driver sends an SMS or WhatsApp message confirming they're at the terminal pickup zone (P7 / Shuttle Bay / Carousel 5) with the vehicle make, colour and licence plate.

Walk to Pickup Zone
Walk to your terminal's designated pickup zone where your driver is waiting. Driver assists with luggage and you're on the road — door-to-door delivery anywhere in Sydney.
T1 International — 30-60 min
From wheels-down to walking out of the Arrivals Hall: taxi to gate (5-10 min), disembark and walk to immigration (5-10 min), passport control (10-30 min depending on queue), baggage carousel (10-20 min), customs screening (5-10 min). That's why Ram's gives you a full 60 minutes free waiting at T1.
T2 Domestic — 15-25 min
No immigration or customs needed for domestic flights. From landing: taxi to gate (3-7 min), disembark (3-5 min), walk to baggage claim (3-5 min), wait for baggage (5-15 min). Most Virgin / Jetstar / Rex passengers reach the Shuttle Bay within 20 minutes.
T3 Domestic — 15-25 min
Same as T2 — domestic flights don't require immigration. Qantas operates from T3 with high-volume baggage handling, so carousels typically deliver bags within 10-15 minutes of landing. Walk to Carousel 5 area pickup zone is straightforward.
Three: T1 International (all overseas flights), T2 Domestic (Virgin Australia, Jetstar, and Rex), and T3 Domestic (Qantas and QantasLink only).
T2 and T3 are about a 5-minute walk apart on the same precinct. T1 is on the opposite side of the runway — approximately 4 km by road, or 6-10 minutes via the free T-Bus shuttle, or one stop on the Airport Link train.
P7 at T1 International, the Shuttle Bay at T2 Domestic, and the Carousel 5 area at T3 Domestic. After you land and switch your phone on, your driver messages you the exact location via SMS or WhatsApp.
The T-Bus shuttle between T2/T3 and T1 International is free for connecting passengers with a same-day boarding pass. The Airport Link train is paid (around $9 per adult between T1 and T2/T3, including the station access fee).

60 minutes at T1 International (covers immigration, baggage, customs). 40 minutes at T2 and T3 Domestic. The waiting timer starts at actual landing — not your scheduled arrival — so flight delays don't reduce your free waiting.
